Mumtaz Alam Bazai is a Pakistani Advocate, Human Rights Lawyer, Youth Leader and Social Activist from Balochistan. He was Born on 11 August 2000 in Kili Zdoon, Tehsil Nana Sahib District Pishin, currently living in Quetta, Balochistan. As the eldest of nine siblings and son of Dr. Ameer Muhammad (Neurosurgeon) and grandson of Dr. Muhammad Azam. He belongs to the Pashtoon tribe (Kakar caste, Bazai sub-caste), his journey from village schooling to becoming an Advocate High Court is defined by discipline, brilliance, Youth Empowerment and unwavering commitment to justice and rule of Law. He is widely recognized for his work in civil, Criminal and Human Rights Law alongside strong Civic Leadership.
From scholarship-based excellence at Pak-Turk Maarif to mastering the intricacies of law at University Law College, He has consistently demonstrated leadership and academic prowess. His multilingual fluency in Pashto, Urdu, English, and Turkish has enabled him to connect with diverse communities and advocate for their rights. As a multilingual legal professional, he bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in the legal arena. His practice is rooted in the belief that law should serve as an instrument of social change and empowerment, particularly for marginalized communities in Balochistan.
Beyond the Courtroom, he serve as a Global Shaper (an Initiative of the World Economic Forum), curating the Global Shapers Community Quetta and contributing to global conversations on governance, youth empowerment and human rights. His work has taken him to international platforms including the Global Shapers Annual Summit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Studied at Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges from class 6th till class 12th. Awarded Fully Funded scholarships (7 years) for academic excellence throughout his schooling. Demonstrated leadership skills and multilingual fluency (Pashto, Urdu, English, Turkish).
Completed with distinction from Pak-Turk Maarif International College. Developed strong analytical Leadership and problem-solving skills that later served his legal career.
University of Balochistan. Building the foundation for social sciences and political thought. Actively participated in debate competitions and student politics.
University of Balochistan. Completed a Master’s degree in Political Science with a strong focus on governance, public policy, political systems, and democratic institutions. Developed advanced analytical and research skills while studying state structures, political theory, and comparative politics, strengthening expertise in policy analysis and governance frameworks relevant to law, human rights, and public administration.
University Law College. Earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with comprehensive training in civil, criminal, constitutional, and human rights law. Gained practical exposure to legal research, drafting, and advocacy, complemented by academic and extracurricular engagement. Authored a research paper titled “The Role of the Election Commission of Pakistan in Ensuring Free and Fair Elections” (2024), reflecting a strong interest in electoral governance, democratic processes, and constitutional accountability.
Received Bar Council License from Balochistan Bar Council (Reg No. 14/2025). Formally joined Iqra Law Associates under senior Associate (Former Deputy Attorney General) Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan Abdul Zahir Kakar. Started practicing as an Advocate High Court.
Authored influential article and research papers on human rights, electoral processes, and legal reforms including "Human Rights and Responsibilities" (2021), "The role of Election Commission of pakistan in ensuring free and fair Elections (2024).
Invited speaker at national and international forums on youth empowerment, legal reforms, and human rights. Represented Quetta at Global Shapers Annual Summit 2025 at geneva, Switzerland.
Led numerous community development projects focusing on education, Technology & Innovation, Climate, Democracy, legal awareness, and youth empowerment in Balochistan's urban and rural areas.

Served as an Executive Member of the General Assembly Balochistan, structuring debates on governance and youth policy. Subsequently chaired the Technology and Innovation Pod at the Juniper Vox Summit MUN, steering high-level talks on digital transformation and innovative policy solutions.
